New Begennings

So I clearly have not kept up with this blog as I originally had planned, 2 years ago!!!

Things have changed in major ways since then. Hubby made it safely home 9 mo's after
our first child was born :) and then 10 mo's later we where blessed with another beautiful
blessing. Another son!

DH is no longer in the military and is attending SWIC, as well as I am.

I am very proud of him as he will be done in January of 2012! He will have his Associates
in HVAC/R.

My current plan is to become a nurse. Right now that dreams seems unattainable and so far
into the future, but with alot of hard work and determination, I know I can get it done..

First of all allow me to say Semper Fi! I am a former Marine and I still get goose bumps when i see the eagle, globe, and anchor. Hang in there, your goals are attainable! Ooooooo-rah.

Military life is challenging for the active duty member as well as for the family. I have experienced military life since I was born (daughter then wife of Air Force members). It's great you are working toward your career goals.

I was not in the military but my brother in law left for iraq the day after I got married. he made it home safe and sound and I am glad your hubby did to. I think it is great you wanna be a nurse and stick with it because you can make it happen. I never graduated High school and now I am a swic grad and a radiologic technologist. So hang in there you can do it.

I'm going for nursing also and keep having that positive outlook on life and you will accomplish anything that comes your way.
